I am not sure what 2010 will bring us as I have found throughout the years that you can make resolutions, spreadsheet your life and pray a whole lot, but in the end life is unpredictable.
After the past 7 years of so much chaos which included two international adoptions, the completion of a major renovation, a move to a new house and Kylee's surgery -- I'm hoping for a less stressful and very relaxing 2010.
I would like to make my house a home -- it has been put on the back burner for so long that I have forgotten when I even bought some of the furniture we now have. We did start plans on completing the basement and hopefully that will be completed by year end.
Mia is doing well in school and Kylee has exceeded all expectations! We have been blessed that Edwin has his job and is doing something he dearly loves! We all have our health and a good sense of humor!
Edwin's parents will arrive tomorrow and will stay until January 30th -- Edwin has not seen his parents since 2001 when he left the Netherlands to move to the US. I am sure they are all excited to be reunited again, if only a month.
Next month we celebrate Kylee's 5th birthday and as far as I know this will be the first time her birth anniversary has been celebrated. She is looking forward to a party at Chuck E Cheese and wants to have pizza and a blue cupcake (all other kids get white).
I'll keep you updated through my posts and I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed 2010!
