The Month of March

This month we enrolled Kylee in Preschool two days a week. If there is one sentence she can say extremely well is "Kylee goes to school" and "Kylee teacher Miss Becky"

Kylee had her first visit to the doctor and dentist, I wish I could say this was a wonderful experience but I would be lying to you! I can say she is healthy and has wonderful teeth!

It's official! After waiting more than 3 years Kendall is finally going to meet her sister Kasey! Janie and Kendall travel to China next month to bring home their baby barely one year old! What is even more amazing is the resemblance between the two girls and the fact that they come from the same orphanage. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers that they have a safe journey and bring home their little bundle as soon as possible!

Kylee gets e-bings!

When we were in China Kylee noticed Mia was wearing something on her ears (earrings). When we returned and I started wearing earrings she would point and I would say "earrings". So for the past 4 weeks we have been listening to Kylee say "Kylee e-bings". Finally today I took her to the mall and she bravely sat there awaiting her moment of glory. As you can tell from the pictures she tilts her head ever so slightly so she can make sure we capture the precious gold balls that now adorn her little ears! She has been wearing a smile all day and runs to a mirror every so often to make sure they are still on her ears!

March came in like a Lion and out like a Lamb! It is almost two months since Kylee's adoption and things couldn't be better. Mia is adjusting to being a big sister and Kylee is adjusting to life in general. It is remarkable how much Kylee has learned in such a short time and how easily she picks up things from her big sister. Mia is enjoying having someone her age and has taught Kylee to play Memory game and Candyland! They both enjoy coloring and trips to the library!

We are such proud parents and thank our lucky stars that we have been blessed with two wonderful children.
